2020 HQIS Winter Performance Review
On December 9th and 10th, our students were on stage for the annual Winter Performances, one of the most thrilling events of the year. Each year, during the Winter Performances, our parents and friends can witness phenomenal shows, and feel the joy and happiness of wintertime at our beautiful campus.
Students of all ages showed their talent with videos, songs, plays, dances, poems, live music, and ensembles on the stage of HQIS Rainbow Bridge Theatre. All performances have been carefully arranged by our teachers who prepared the students for more than one month.
Our Early Childhood and Primary School department delighted us with Christmas songs and carols, plays, drumming, sketches, and breath-taking dances. The choreography was astounding: our beautifully dressed children danced with neon lights, pom poms, canes, and ribbons, just like professional artists. The audience was simply amazed!
The Upper School performances were equally fabulous. Our Middle School and High School students brought on stage the best of classical virtuosity with orchestra and solo sections, hip-hop dances, rap, jazz, and pop music. Last but not least, the real novelty of this year: the Christmas Cooking Show, directed by Mr. Alex Coxall, our humorous “Gordon Ramsay”.
We’d like to thank every single member of our community for continuing to allow us to develop HQIS students into inquisitive learners ready to make a positive change in their community and ultimately the world.
