Our school blog is a great chance to see what's happening at HQIS in a regular basis. Here you can see daily life as it develops within our campus, browse pictures, and get to know us on a more personal basis.
Last week, the HQIS 5th graders participated in their culminating activity: Primary Years Program Exhibition. The exhibition encompasses all Attitudes, Transdisciplinary Skills, and all attributes of the IB Learner Profile. It’s a chance for 5th-grade students to show what they have learned throughout their elementary years.
The Grade 5 PYP Exhibition is a culminating event of primary students' education. During the PYP Exhibition, students are given the opportunity to share their understanding of a real-life issue or topic they've covered. We hope in this way students can reflect on all their learning while developing skills of presentation and assessment, keeping enthusiasm for inquiry, engaging in a collaborative form of learning, and embody the IB-PYP attributes to make the world a better place.
