Introduction

The Photography competition is the first House Cup event of this year. The students are competing to take photos on the topic of “A day in the life of HQIS student”. Mr. Ansell, Mr.Vandelaar, Mr.Coxall and Mr.Lyle came up with the idea of a photography competition last year and many students were involved in it. It was very funny and successful last year and the students enjoyed it. The teachers decided to create a better scoring system and make the competition more organized and fair this year. (Click to view last Photo Contest Review)

This year our candidates are divided into two groups (smartphones and cameras). Each group has 3 winners from first to third place. The rules have been changed by this year that only photos taken at school are allowed and candidates cannot use the photo taken before. Our teachers try to ensure the competition is fair, make the students enjoy it and learn something in the competition.

Criteria

Our Judges are Mr. Van de Laar, Mr. Coxall, Mr. Lyle and Mr. Alex. And they will give a reasonable score to the photos of the competition through various derails.

Their criteria will be divided into five sections and corresponding details.

You can get different scores by completing each part.
