HQIS Parent Letter E-learning Guide Lower School #Week 3 

Dear Parents, Families, and Members of Our HQIS community,

The HQIS Lower School Leadership and Staff would like to extend sincere gratitude to our parents and entire school community for embracing our compelling E-Learning Program. We are very proud of the adaptability and innovation demonstrated by our students and teachers. Our teachers are available to help students navigate working remotely through dynamic instruction such as teaching videos, live online sessions, live chats and discussions by utilizing ClassDojo and Zoom. This allows our students to maintain active communication with their teachers as well as a close community with their peers. As shown on our official WeChat account, we continue to showcase our student work, which we cannot be more proud of.

Over the course of our second week of E-learning the entire faculty has been working towards tailoring the E-learning experience for the needs of our students. The Nursery, Pre-School and Pre-Kindergarten will continue their learning journey as they did last week. In response to your feedback, the following adaptations will take place across the elementary division during this week’s e-learning.  Please find details in the attachment. 

We would like to commend our entire school community for your commitment to our school, and your flexibility during this time of uncertainty. We empathize with all of our families during this time, and wish happiness, wellbeing, and safety to us all. We eagerly await the time that our school community is back together at our HQIS campus. Now more than ever it is important for us all to unite and work together as a supportive community. Thank you all!
