This week, the school had the honor to host “Ancient Aromas” to celebrate International Women's Day, the second event organized by Parents of HQIS (POH). The event focused on Chinese incense culture and offered a captivating experience for parents, intertwining ancient rituals and hands-on activities to provide a profound cultural immersion. 
The participants were encouraged to explore the art of shaping incense powder, an intricate and meticulous process. The process of creating shapes of incense powder into burners involved a series of steps, such as mixing, cleaning and shaping with the help of beautiful molds.
We are immensely grateful for the continued support and encouragement of our parents and our leadership team. A heartfelt thank you to HQIS Parent Committee Chair, Diana, for her meticulous organization and planning of this event. It is because of your commitment and passion that HQIS is a better and more inclusive place. We look forward to welcoming you to our upcoming events and creating more wonderful memories together.
