The "Hear the Love, Embrace the Future" charity concert, which took place on March 28, saw the participation of the HQIS school's String Orchestra at the Shanghai Concert Hall. Organized by the Information Office of the Shanghai Municipal People's Government and co-organized by the International Communication Center of Shanghai Media Group and Shanghai Daily, the event aimed to convey the message of "building a child-friendly city". Additionally, it sought to promote the ideals of conveying beauty and love, raise awareness about people who are hearing-impaired, and encourage the community to deeply engage with this “silent world”with love and compassion.

The concert was not only a musical feast filled with love and warmth, but also an enchanting experience that combined art and charity, with Chinese and foreign students performing together on the same stage. During the event, children from our school along with other five international schools in Shanghai brought beautiful melodies to the audience.

The students' performances not only demonstrated exceptional musical prowess but also contributed to social welfare, delivering a message of hope and inspiration amid the audience. It was a concert that truly uplifted the spirits and left a lasting impact, and the students had the chance to show their dedication and talent.
